Bob called at noon today and is at Elizbeth Lake - mile 480. He has been hiking with a guy in his fifties who goes by the trail name Paint Your Wagon. There isn't much water in this section so bob is carrying two gallons. Result- three repairs to his pack from the weight. Inspite of this he is still making good mileage. Paint Your Wagon has left for town and bob is continuing his hike.
