He will stay there the rest of the day and then head across the rest of the Mojave on Saturday and Sunday.   He will travel north for a hot and dry hike across the San Andreas Fault Zone and western arm of the Mojave Desert before climbing into the Tehachapi Mountains, where the trail enters the Sierra Nevada. Yeah!!  Out of the heat.
